Personal Injury Law

Personal Injury Law, also called Tort Law, is that branch of the law which deals with claims against persons or entities which, through their negligence, have caused injury or death to others and seeks compensation for those injuries, usually in the form of money damages.  Among the many possible damages one may claim and sue for are; physical injuries, disfigurement, death, pain and suffering, loss of earnings or earning capacity, emotional /psychological distress, loss of companionship of a spouse, medical costs, legal costs, etc.

Personal Injury cases come in many forms.  A few examples include: pilot error or FAA Controller error causing a plane crash, a drunk or reckless driver of a motor vehicle (automobile, truck, snowmobile, motorcycle, boat, etc.) negligently causing injury or death, negligent failure to control a vicious dog which bites and injures a child, etc.

We have been representing adults and children who have been injured because of the carelessness and negligence of others for many years.  We have more than 30 years of litigation experience.  When you call our office ask to speak with Attorney Malizia.  If he is not available at the time, he will return your call as soon as possible.
